UNSC: Discussing the increasing militarisation of the Arctic and its implications
The United Nations Security Council (UNSC) has the responsibility of maintaining international peace and security. It contains 5 permanent members and 10 non-permanent members. It recommends parties to settle disputes in a peaceful manner. The agenda focuses on the increase in military resources in the Arctic and the implications this could have on the world. Delegates are urged to explore their role following both the committee and the militarisation plan on how they could influence the decisions made.


UNCSW: Effects of Language on Perceptions of Gender
The UNCSW was established in 1946 to promote gender equality, women's rights, and empower women globally by setting standards and policies. Delegates need to set global standards and formulate policies for women's rights and gender equality, considering the effects of language on perceptions of gender and various other socio-cultural and economic factors impacting women's empowerment.

So the agenda aims to safeguard the privacy of individuals in the digital age and acts as an enforcement body which will have powers to direct any urgent remedial measures regarding a personal data breach.

Delegates will engage in in-depth debates on economic growth, national security, environmental stewardship, and other key issues, aiming to develop comprehensive and actionable solutions that reflect conservative values and effectively address contemporary Canadian challenges and concerns.
